Was gratified to see efforts to get media coverage for the Irish Day of Action showed results beyond Irish media. A volunteer hands-on effort to lend practical help in Hurricane Sandy ravaged neighborhoods, the Irish Day of Action was a joint project of the Irish Consulate in NYC and leading regional Irish groups.
